As a web design student, might be getting the offer of this paid for a year as a crimbo pressie to keep my portfolio on without having to rely on mates hosts instead So I've been told to scout out the best deal!

Check their terms and conditions, especially if there is a load limit and cutoff

well i use fasthosts, but i would not recommend them!

 

I suggest zen to all my clients. They pay about £5 a month, but its only 1 month contracts (not 12 months like most).

Unlimited is NEVER unlimited and I'd be very wary of anyone claiming it.

 

Personally, if a web hosting company claims "unlimited space/bandwidth", I go somewhere else immediately.
