October 23, 201015 yr Hello! I've been trying to get the 2 pixel divide to look good on a white background but I'm having a bit of difficulty getting the colours to work so that it looks good. The main colour on the site I'm working on is :#8e6767 if that helps. It's for a horizontal divide by the way. Can anybody help? Thanks all!
October 23, 201015 yr Can't entirely picture your problem, but maybe try replacing the white (background or colour of the white in the divider) with a very light grey? Failing that, have you got a screenshot of where you're at now?
October 23, 201015 yr What I do, which seems to work well if you have photoshop is, first remove any existing divide, so that the colours you are dividing are next to each other, next draw a line, one pixel in height, filled solid black, and another line below it in solid white. Then set the blending mode to overlay, and play with the opacity to get it looking good. Works 99% of times.
