I'm a bit confused by the following when I search for hses.co.uk (search term 'hses'):

 

google.co.uk: link title = 'HSES Limited'

yahoo.co.uk: link title = 'The Number One Bespoke Health, Safety and Environmental...'

bing.com = link title = 'HSES Limited'

 

 

yahoos title is correct, and the site has been up for ages. When I look at the cache for bing and google the titles are correct. So why is the link title wrong? 'HSES Limited' isn't even referenced ANYWHERE on the site??? Can anyone enlighten me as to what's happening here?

Shortened the meta titles....see if that's anything to do with it.

doesn't explain where they got the 'HSES Limited' from? Have you or anyone used this when submitting to search engines?

Site was uploaded aaaages ago (couple of months maybe?)...I have never used 'HSES Limited' as a title tag. The search engine caches are recent, so should be right...
