Can anyone tell me that creating a website in joomla is best or drupal. Which one i have to create, i have little bit confused in this, could someone give me good info for both regarding this. Thanks in advance.

Drupal is much stable product and well designed, Joomla is much easier to handle and customize.

 

MY choice will be Drupal.

I agree, I also use joomla in my projects.

However drupal is pretty good also, that's why I'm still studying it.

we can get many features in both joomla and drupal.For an example Drupal is much more flexible when it comes to the development and setting up the theme and layout of the website. Joomla! is known to be surrounded by the paradigms set by itself, and offers less scope to be flexible.

So Both having different kind of features which depends on processing..

Wordpress?

A vote here for Joomla. I've done some nice sites in Joomla and the back end is also very user friendly. I spent a bit of time with Drupal but didn't really like it so decided to stick with Joomla.

Can I build a template from scratch etc like one which i have already but i want the cms part in it.

drupal i personally think but i never use any of them.

 

I am lucky most of my clients like me to custom make everything which means the website always loads superfast as i only code what is needed rather than having a host of functions that are not needed.

Its really confusing…

Actually I have not been using drupal and using zoomla. Both are good but I personally recommend zoomla as it is easy to use and handle and customization can take place easily.

I'm using drupal until a kohana cms becomes available.

write down the specification for your site, and then find the best fit - that is the best for today, and the future

I prefer to work with Joomla. It is good quality and professional software. If you know PHP using this CMS you will be able to create website without problems.I think it is user-friendly and QuickStart Joomla will help you install all source files easily.
