I have been trying for a while now to get to grips with graphic designing in photoshop - but the simple fact is that i am rubbish. Being that i am not artistic by nature, i struggle to even conceive an idea and furthermore just can not get to grips with photoshop.

 

I am ok if i'm just doing simple things such as textured backgrounds or similar things for web pages. But i want to expand my ability and be able to do more advanced graphics such as logos and quirky little images for things.

 

Can anyone recommend a decent book that i could get? I have tried online tutorials but find them vague and having learned my other knowledge from books - i feel this is the way to go.
