October 11, 201015 yr I think that the trends of webdesign will become very functional and transistional, allowing users / visitors to choose how they want there page too look like, like the way you can add widgets to your google homepage, but this will be with every website. The monitor size will be scalable, with such technologys being tested at the moment that allow you to have moving l.e.d. tattoos and flat screens getting even flatter, i think you will be able to scale the site to the size you want, when and where you want it. The computer configuration is a tricky one, with the likes of cloud computing and Operating systems competeing to get more and more of there services in the cloud i think that it will be very controlled, Hacking will become a big thing once again. For people like us to keep control over our content and who holds / accesses it. Such as google with the likes of gmail, google docs, Google chrome sync etc. This is a very interesting subject as there are unlimited possiblities.

October 12, 201015 yr hmm 1. Assume we get past 2012 2. Assume we've not become an Islamic state and anything 'media' has been banned. 3. Assume that the oil wars are over and we've survived that. 4. Assume that the food wars or starvation haven't killed us off. By 2050 population is expected to rise by a staggering 50% 5. Assume that Mother Nature hasn't wiped us out with one of many nasty viruses. 6. Assume that one of thousands of asteroids haven't hit and taken their toll. 7. Global warming. Mass movement of that ever increasing population. Web design will be the least of our worries Well not mine!

October 13, 201015 yr We may be back to 50 years ago by 2013 as there is supposed to be a solar flare which, if it happens would be like a massive EMP (Electro Magnetic Pulse) to the whole of earth sending us back to the non microchip age.
