Why are MacBook's (and MacBook Pro's) recommended for graphic design?

Featured Replies

Please don't say anything like, "it looks better", "it's more stable than Windows", "it performs better than Windows", or "it has better programs".

I'm interested in what programs found only in Macs are better than Windows' programs. Everywhere I look, people are recommending them but use the reasons stated above as their backup. Are there programs found only in MacBooks that are superior to Windows' programs? I understand some people may charge more (for printing services and the like) if any graphics are presented on a platform besides Macintosh, but is there any other solid reasoning?

No not really, just what people prefer. Some years ago there were probably design programs only for macs, but now days you get the same programs for mac and pc.

Macs are better put together so it can handle software better! Plus for design purpose all macs come with led screens which makes the colours more vivid and more true!

You can get good monitors for PC's as well. As well as build them much better. I've had problems with my mac, the backlight is uneven and the hinge has cracked. Maybe I'm unlucky, but macs aren't invincible.
