September 24, 201016 yr Hello I have used a jquery plugin for a gallery page at :a site I'm working on The page seems to load ok in most browsers but is a bit slow in Safari and sometimes completely messes up in IE (not loading CSS sheets) and other times works ok in IE. Any ideas as to how I can fix this? I put in $document ready thing around script but not sure that has done anything. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Vicky
September 24, 201016 yr Make sure you use your own jquery library file , something like src='jquery.js' rather than getting it from code.google.com ,something like src='code.google.com ....../ jquery.js' Hittesh
September 24, 201016 yr Author oh thanks, does that really make a big difference then? i didn't realise that thanks
September 24, 201016 yr you may also want to try adding the script at the bottom of the page ( just before </body> ) instead of in the <head>
September 24, 201016 yr Also, just for neatness, in the top left, in FF3.5 theres some weird carachters, dunno if they are meant to be there but it doesnt look it
September 24, 201016 yr Author thanks Ash, yes they were appearing in current version of FF but got rid of them there...will do some browser testing soon. Ta
