I got a website but I want to change it. My friends say I must change the design to make it more attractive. Please visit my site SathRong and give me some suggesition.

A good start would be:

 

1. Remove the animated logo.

2. Remove all the sounds on the buttons.

3. Make all of the blurry elements clean, crisp and clear images or try recoding them with css.

 

Then you need to unify the style throughout the page. You have text links at the top, vertical tabs in the header, totally different horizontal tabs and then a different style again for the "read more" button. Try to make them fit together a bit more.

I agree with Eris. Also the ads don't do anything for a professional image IMHO.

1) Stop the animation - it makes your site look too amateur.

 

2) Avoid using flash unless absolutely necessary - it increases the loading time, and not all users will have the flash add-on.

 

3) Stop the sound. Visitors like to provide their own sound effects, and the particular sounds you've chosen make your site come across as far too amateur.

 

4) Take down the adverts - they probably aren't making you very much money, and if this is your professional portfolio, the only thing you should be advertising is yourself.

Re author the website with XHTML - HTML and use the flash to make a nice header promo -menu. I don't suggest full flash sites only if they are famous brands or portfolios.

 

I like the colors but loose the bevel it is old fashioned.

 

Make the logo larger with an nice vertical reflection.
