As some of you may know, I'm undergoing a new personal project.

It's now working, with a basic functionality in place.

Lots more to come, and need to work on the style a touch.

Thoughts ? :p.

Could do with a submit button as option, I felt a bit lost when I couldn't find one! :)

Yeah, but then that spoils the asthetics of the site. :p.

Might add one and see what it looks like.

A submit button is a must in my opinion.

Also, when you rate another vent/rant/release, it should be served via ajax rather than reloading and then clicking back to view the releases again

Good start :)

It's on my to-do list :p. Just wanted to get it setup and working for now. :D.

Have added a submit button. Doesn't look half bad.

Also added "Highest Rated Release" to homepage.

I think that' done it. Don't have that version of FF installed, but had the same problem in Safari.

It works in safari now, so is it working in 3.6.6 ? :p

It is fixed now.

I was the guy who mentioned it on the website.

Will you eventually have registration/login?

Yeah, it will be a lost more advanced when it's finished. :p.

It's just a shell atm really.

maybe change the words to say type, submit, relax.

and why only more than 10 characters?

You build a new website and the first thing people try to do is break it :/

I apologise, but it seems using the $_GET method might not be the best if you don't want people messing with the results, I was just able to pretty much decide which rant was the highest by scoring the others what I wanted.

I would add a function in the PHP that just reads the '+' or the '-' and then adds or subtracts 1, don't pass any actual numbers as it gives people, like me, extra control over the database :)

Sorry for messing with it man..

But I bet you'd rather work this stuff out now..

I'd already validated it, so you could enter anything higher than 1, just forgot to do the same for the other way round ;).

Probably won't keep it like that, but for now it'll do. Try break it now ;).

No worries, hehe.

Now... to get on with my list of changes.

Working on an enhanced version, here.

Want it too look as simple as possible, which is the reason for the basic menu.

Thinking that in the white space underneath "snappad", might stick a 'random release'.

Then the page content will be in the area it used to be.

In the process of adding the functionality of a login page to it.

This is a good idea tbh, but it could turn into a massive troll fest, will proberly have to keep an eye on it just to make sure no flaming happens

But its still quite good man keep it up :)

Yeah, I think I know a couple of ways I can get round that. Just need to get it looking decent. Always the hardest part.
