Portfolio Design Feedback

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I have spent yesterday recoding my website so that it was more user friendly and would validate. I am still in the process of validating it as it has some issues with the javascript but the rest is finished.

As you might notice i have a javascript the changes the css based on the time of day so at the moment ( time of posting) it is displaying sunrise as it is 8:00.

Please could i have your feedback on the design and any bugs that you might find with it.

Many Thanks,

Ben White

just had a quick look through ( using firefox ), it's ok, some flaws i've noticed though, in "Graphic Design" 'Flyers' is overlapping 'Business Cards' by about 20 pixels. Also in your "Portfolio" you might want to add some controls for the user to navigate through the portfolio instead of having them wait 7 seconds every time.

I also see the overlapping error.

Overall I think it's nice, but not extraordinary. A portfolio design is an opportunity where you can stamp your own character and personality into the website and I feel it lacks any flare at all. In places, such as the About Me page, the content and design of the page looks very uninviting. I couldn't bring myself to start reading through text upon text.
