I am currently developing my Portfolio but what do you think of the design Daniel Tomlinson Design at the time of posting only home and about me pages are done.

The overall design is very clean and easy to read.

 

maybe add colour to liven up the website

who is Taylor? that'll be tailor made.....

If you are a web designer your portfolio design needs to stand out and right now it looks normal.

I would agree with ArchDesignLabs, personally i don't like it but i am very picky so im not the best to give an opinion on whether or not i like a design. You need a wow factor, something that will make your clients basically fall off there chair when they see your site. That is what i would recommend anyway. Although it does look very clean and tidy, which is good.

 

By the way on the portfolio page your text is overlapping your footer.

Agree with Rich and Arch, it's bland and needs a selling point. In such a saturated market, why should prospective customers choose you? You need to make your portfolio work harder to sell yourself. For a start, how about using a slightly different template for each page? i.e. reposition the butterfly, or use different pics to break up the monotony a little? Keep at it!
