June 30, 201016 yr I've added a thick stroke to a layer using the blending option menus, and the edges of the stroke are very jagged? How could I fix this? Thanks.
June 30, 201016 yr I think such jagged edges of the stroke is caused by jagged edges of the rectangle object in the layer.
June 30, 201016 yr I actually think it is to do with an irregular angle set in photoshop - I find that the jagged edges only appear if the angles are weird (like -9.4) instead of 15 degree angles... does that makes sense?
June 30, 201016 yr I guess it rather could be due to several (more than one) turnings (with Free transform tool for instance) of this rectangle that causes undesirable "edge effects".
June 30, 201016 yr How did you rotate the image? I've doing some PS work just now and have found it better to Image/Rotate Canvas/Arbitrary rather than use the Edit/Free Transform
June 30, 201016 yr I only press Ctrl-T (for PC) for Free Transform box and handles appear around selected object on a layer...

July 4, 201016 yr Just used a rough image of the pic you posted and put a frame round in AI, as its a vector it’s a bit better, do you have AI?
July 6, 201016 yr You could try in a new document with a higher DPI. Aliasing is prevalent at 72dpi web work, but rarely apparent in 300dpi print work.
July 7, 201016 yr I sometimes have this problem when saving as a .GIF. If thats what your doing try a .PNG, that solves it for me.
