July 13, 201016 yr Came accross this site - http://www.gbbo.co.uk/ You can get a free .co.uk domain then just change the name servers over to your host. Enjoy How do you go about changing the name servers on the domain? Thanks,
July 14, 201016 yr Yeah its 110% free, but im interested in how you can change the nameservers, or even the www record. Ive logged into the portal but it doesn't allow you to change the www record. Anyone done this that can advise?
July 14, 201016 yr Tried doing it myself there as well. Only got my domain registered there also, but it seems you have to login into gbbo.myportalexpress.com with the username and password it gave you in the email.

Yeah ive logged into that, you can only change the MX records. However, if you click home on the portal ... Above your domain is a message about transfering and changing nameservers, click on that and you can request to change them. I have requested mine and will update you if it gets passed.
July 14, 201016 yr Found this on wholesaleforums... Sorry, I forgot to mention. It appears that you can no longer edit the nameserver details yourself with myportalexpress and you have to request it each time now (although I maybe wrong).

Have now contacted them also about changing the domain name servers. Will keep you also updated P.S. Is it free for my to point the DNS to my hosting?
July 14, 201016 yr to change nameservers or IPS TAG you have to login to gbbo.myportalexpress.com and then request the changes via their contact form. Be warned though that they are bloody useless and I had to make the same request every day for a month plus phone their useless contact number before even getting a reply. Once they did finally get the message that i wanted the IPSTAG changed it took them 5 days.

Yeah it should be free, after all, you didnt pay for any of it lol. If it isn't, ill just cancel it and buy the domain. Just thought id try my luck this way, you never no, might be able to get free domains out of it which is a bonus lol
July 15, 201016 yr Just got my email Waiting for my host to refresh now Hi, Thanks for your email. Your request has been completed.Thank you for supplying all relevant info in regards to your request to change name servers. Kind Regards,
July 15, 201016 yr Just got my email Waiting for my host to refresh now When you requested the nameserver change, did you specify why you required it? ... I aint heard back yet and i wonder why ........ ?

July 16, 201016 yr Mine's working now too. How cool. Will I have to renew it with them after a year at a ridiculous price though?
July 16, 201016 yr It's a 2 year registration with them. But not sure, I will face that obstacle when I get to it, if I do koo

July 16, 201016 yr http://pandawebdesign.co.uk/ Here's mine. I'm going to use it as a side project. The sort of work I do that I don't want to go onto my Portfolio for clients to see but would still like to put out there and make use of.
July 17, 201016 yr Just got my confirmation. Looks like it does work. So for all you guys that look at this. This is 110% legit, just simple sign up for your domain, then when you get your portal login details, request for the nameservers to be changed then you have got a .co.uk domain for free when they authorize the change. Make the most of it!
