How to put my latest blog onto my website?

Featured Replies

I have my own website but want my blog to be CMS and when I post a new blog I want this to update on my website.

So, on my website I want to have a blog preview... “Latest blog, today I....”

Is there any easy ways of doing this or any CMS which has a built in function?

Thanks.

Hi mate,

With regards to whether this is the easiest way of doing it, I cannot say. But I implemented a Wordpress blog into my current website only yesterday, using the following tutorial;

http://www.rivergraphics.net/resources-tutorials/how-to-integrate-a-wordpress-blog-into-your-existing-website/

Heres the link to the blog also;

Its not finished yet, but you can see the main premise is there and all functioning! So yeah, I literally followed the tutorial laid out on that link above... took about 45 minutes! Hope this if of some help,

Thanks Kyle i'll give that a look over.

No worries, mate.

Like I said, I really don't know if its the easiest route, but its the one I took yesterday. If you happen to do it this way and run into any problems, just message me and I'll help out if I can while its still relatively fresh in my mind :-P

I don't think that is quiet what i am after though, i'm just after adding a small feed to my site like a twitter feed or like what i would get on a cms home page.

Ohhhh right, I see, sorry dude, thought you were after a full on blog to current website integration :fool:

Thank you very much that looks like it will do the trick very nicely without me having to open up a can of PHP source.
