March 21, 201016 yr Hi, I have been offered to enter a load of info, pages & posts into a wordpress site but havnt a clue how much to charge? What is the going rate for this kind of service? Per hour? Thanks
March 22, 201016 yr Author Anybody??!! Can anyone advise me on much I should charge for this service? What do you charge? Thanks
March 22, 201016 yr Author I would just charge my hourly rate Do you think that charging at say, £20-£25 is reasonable for basic data entry then?? I would have thought it would've been less than that. Not much skill involved like building a website.

I would still charge my hourly rate, if I'm doing bits and bobs on an hourly rate sometimes its developments, sometimes its graphics, doesn't really matter what it is to me I just charge that, even charged my hourly rate for adding products to an ecommerce site once.Way I see it is if someone wants to hire me per hour I give them my usual hourly rate as standard, but up to you mate.

April 16, 201016 yr You definitly have to charge your hourly rate. I had a similar problem recently and tried to explain to my client the reason we had gone with Wordpress is so they could adminster the site themselves. If they want to pay adminstrator rates then they can go find an adminstrator, you're a web designer so charge web designers rates.
April 16, 201016 yr I also would charge my hourly rate but would pass on the data entry to another colleague. I wouldnt spend my time entering data if I were you. Do you have someone you can trust who can do it for you for even say £15ph You definitly have to charge your hourly rate.
