Hi I am looking for a tool that can help me keep track of projects I have searched but not found anything that fits the bill.

I would like it to do the following.

 

1.Allow me to deal with multiple projects.

2.Allow hourly rate input.

3.Allow me to input tasks.

4.Generate report or invoice.

5.Work on windows.

6.Not run in a .net environment as this seems to slow my PC down.

7.Run as a stand alone app not web based.

8. BE VERY CHEAP as I am currently very skint.

 

Any suggestions or opinions would be gratefully received.

Microsoft Access? That seems like a stupid suggestion but it does tick all your boxes (they even have a timecard form worked into one of the databases you can generate from their Wizard).

theres one built in to dreamhost on my web panel. its open source i think -

DotProject is web-based, not standalone.

 

I use it though for uni projects etc, its quite good and probably does most of what you want.
