Hi all

I'm Rich, and I've been involved in web design theory and e-commerce for about 6 years now.

I have recently bitten the bullet and branched out on my own to offer web design, hosting, optimisation etc (as I have been consulting on this for years) - but I have never designed then published a site myself.

So, I am attending college at night school to learn Dreamweaver.

At the moment, it's like learning a new language: when I look at the code, and can see what it's doing and why - I just can't write it myself from scratch!

A bit like being able to read a foreign newspaper, but not being able to write a letter in the same language.

Anyway - I hope the mists will clear soon, as that tends to happen with me.

Looks like a great resource!

Hi and Welcome Rich.

When you are in a mist, you think you have lost your way. When the mists clear, you know you have.

Just ask questions etc or view the forums asking about problems and I am sure they will help you out.

I learnt how to code html & css in about 1 week, some advanced stuff took me abit longer however it's fairly easy and I'm sure it won't be long until you pick it up.

I normally find web design courses are a waste of money, they drag them out over a period of time, you pay alot of money I suggest you search tiztag & w3schools in google each are very good resources :)
