  2. Cheers for all of the help guys. I do like the elegant button idea that sounds great!
  3. This has do be done while they are logged out. I was planning on just using this. http://jqueryfordesigners.com/demo/coda-slider.html I would remove all of the tabs bar two naming them new and existing clients!
  4. Hi Guys, One of my clients requires two contact forms on one page which he would like to be done using JQuery. One contact form is for "New customers" and the other for "Existing Customers". Only one of these forms can be showing at anyone time and it must be non confusing for the client. I have been toying with the idea of using tabs or maybe even a sliders? What would you use in this scenario? If you can find any JQuery addons that would do this could you post them! Cheers guys
  5. Yea I suppose you are right! Just a pain in the ass when you work your ass off to gain one client and they seem to get them dead easy!
  6. But even so, £350 is a lot of money for the return they get on the website!
  7. Hi Guys, For sometime now I have been looking over web design business' in my local area (Telford). Some of them do look good and do offer a good design service to their clients, however, recently I have been noticing more and more awful looking web design agencies popping up. Now it wouldn't bother me however they seem to developing big portfolio's rapidly whereas I am struggling to get more than one client every two months. For example: http://www.friendlywebcompany.co.uk In my honest opinion, the website above is poor and so is every website on their portfolio for that matter yet people still choose them, why? What is it that these sites do to get them so many clients? Have you noticed this or is it just me?
  8. LOL. I got undercut by one last week. I quoted £895 for a full ecommerce system (on my own cms) which is not a lot, and some Asian quoted him £100.. It's a joke!
  9. Telford here, representing the West Midlands
  10. When I first look at it: There are too many colours being thrown about here, drop the purples maybe? I think the Purple and red is clashing! Drop shadows are not used as much anymore, if you are going to use them make them very subtle. Nav text, the font should be ALOT smaller, 11/12px maybe? and I would change the font colour also. All in all though the design is not that bad!
  11. Its just I don't want to add just text.. don't know what else to add lol :/
  12. Hi guys, Well here is a site I have just finished for a client, he is yet to add his own content and the white space in the bottom right is for something else so ignore that hehe. I have charged £320 altogether for it, that includes to flash video player which will be added as soon as he gives me the video.. So, opinions? http://reliablestyle.com/Brett/
  13. Any ideas for what I should put into the content area? :s
  14. Hi all, Would appreciate all of your opinions on this.. I have tried to design our new design, going retro, but the question is, so far does it work? You should be able to see what I am trying to do!
