Hey I am back (some of you may remember me and may of noticed that I have been gone of all forums for the past 3-4 month), anyway I am now back and have a bit more time to check forums again.

JQueryalicious! Nice use of the library. The effects work well together and the information is well organised. Look at your font and heading use to really finish it off. Nice work!

Good use of colour makes it look classic and professional.

Only thing (my eyes went straight to it as well) was the background, the white shading bit is “straight” where the repeat finishes/ends.

Well, tbh, I'm a JQuery tart also and my site reads like a top ten list of JQuery effects to use! I think so long as it's used in moderation, it can add to the user experience, just make sure it isn't used for the sake of it, hard I know!

 

As for your fonts, how about keeping the line-height but reducing the font-size? This way, it's not so cramped together. For your headings, maybe look at Sifr or Cufon replacement techniques?

If the viewer's monitor is above 1600, it repeats out to the left and right and leaves a white band below. (Press Ctrl/Cmd and the minus key - or use the scroll wheel on your mouse to zoom out, you will see something like the effect then).

I will defeintly give reducing fontsize a little bit, as for headings I think I might try a few fonts out and screenshot them

Depends really I would say 90% of the time I do cause I dual screen I don’t get bothered about wasting space so 90% of the time I would say at full 1920x1080.

 

I to stress about making everyone happy, at the moment as I’m only a beginner I am making sure it is 100 working, looking good validating etc then worry about the 10-20% that may be different.

 

I still have a looooong way to go.

Color is too bland. Everything is dull, washed out and un-inviting. You are intending to draw in clients here, make it look more alive (too much J-query is also a pet peeve of mine).
