Create 3D Balloons in Fireworks

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

Does anyone here know how to create a nice vector image of a balloon in Fireworks and if so can someone please tell me?

Thanks a lot for reading.

:)

Ok, no problem at all,

I've created 3 balloons for you, hopefully they are what you after.

Please see attached they are a fully editable Fireworks .png so you can easily change colours etc.

There 2 inner shadow effects which you can change to reflect the coloured balloon.

Hey, here is my quick attempt at the red balloon (on the right of course).

I might be able to make it a bit better with more time but I'm not sure.

What do you think? Any immediate thing to improve?

and how do you make your so round :D? Mine is a kind of weird shape.

BTW my first time adding an image so if it doesn't work, sorry.

Can we vote you member of the month?

Or do you choose ? :D

he he,

Unfortunately that's a bad side of being the admin, I don't get to win any awards. :)

Your balloon attempt is very good, I basically took the circle tool, the used the subselection tool (white curser next to the standard black one) and played with the bottom circle point..dragged it out...twisted to give the bottom a more elongated shape.

Are you able to edit the balloons I sent, you should be able to as I saved them as a layered .png.

:)

That is absolutely fantastic, I think yours is better than mine!

Really good work there, I look forward to seeing more of your stuff :)

If you ever need anything just give us a shout :)

I really like the blue balloon, I think with the slight purple tint it looks really good
