  3. Ok, thanks. So can anyone code stuff? Or do you need to learn ALL html? Can you get programs to code stuff for you? thanks
  4. O thanks a lot I'll give that a go. And does anyone mind spending a minute explaining to me what coding is/does. I know this is probably a stupid question but I'm clueless. Or ever point me in the direction of a site that explains it. thanks a lot

Hello people, Ok so, I have made this bullet hole I got from this tutorial: http://www.luv2help.com/videos/create-bull...-with-photoshop (It was actually created in photoshop but wouldn't let me upload psd so i saved as png.) Anyway, i was wondering if it was possible to change the grey around to edges to black or something, Its just i have it on a blood colored background with white/grey text above it and it gets hard to read. Or if anyone has another good 'bullethole tutorial'. Although they need to be quite big bullets and i have seen other tutorials that only look good as small bullets on cars etc. I hope you understand what i mean as i know i have been a bit vague, and any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks alot EDIT: ok apparently the .png isnt opening (I don't know why sorry) But it shows a picture of the bullethole (mine is pretty much identical) at the end of the video tutorial link posted.
  7. Who broke the what? I missed it.
  8. Ahh ok, that actually makes a bit of sense to me Thanks very much.
  9. Hey guys You'll be glad to know problem is solved, so you wont here any more whining from me, (until my next problem anyway ) I looked around at some other forums and i tried a few things so not exactly sure which one actually fixed my problem But for those who are having the same problem, i think i just had to set the image to 8 bit. Don't really know what this means but i read it in a forum, tried it - and now i can save so Thanks to all that helped out . Happy holidays.
  10. I have got to type .png myself as it is not in the drop down banner, neither is jpeg or anything else btw. I have listed all the things in the drop down menu above somewhere. This is really starting to bug me, why is mine different to everyone elses. At the moment i am using a free trial of photoshop - could this be the reason. Although that would be strange - not being able to save .jpegs as im on a trial so i doubt it. Please someone help me QUICKY Thanks.
  11. Ok Here is how it is. When I download .PSD files off the internet (From tutorials etc.) it works a treat in fireworks. When I try to open .PSD files i have created in Photoshop in fireworks - i get the error message : 'Could not open the file. Unsupported file format'
  12. :S I have different options mine are File>Save As... Formats: Photoshop Photoshop EPS Photoshop DCS Large Document File Photoshop PDF Photoshop RAW TIFF Where am i going wrong?
  13. Ahhh, You are a genius (and i am incredibly stupid.) I, embarrassingly, was actually just renaming the extension (Sorry I'm still new to all this.) So I'm guessing i go to Save As.. and choose .png? but i cannot find .png on the list of formats to choose from How would I go about saving as a .PNG then? Cheers
  14. I Have used downloaded photoshop brushes from deviantart in the image, could this be the problem?
  15. Hello again people I have a little problem. I created an image in Adobe Photoshop CS3 and I need to get it open in Adobe Fireworks CS3. Is this possible? I have tried changing the file type to .PNG and then open it but i still get the same error message: 'Could not open the file. Unsupported file format'
  16. I'll create a new topic, as this one has kind of gone off topic.. Thanks very much to all for your help.
  17. Nope, still same message pops up.
  18. Yeah, I already tried that it says 'Could Not Open The File. Unsupported File Format." Does anyone know how to fix it? The file says its a .PSD (Don't know if this helps at all.) Cheers,
  19. hey people, How do i open a file made in photoshop in fireworks? Is it possible? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

  23. Cheers Eskymo that sounds fantastic - here is the zip file (i hope I've done this right) BloodBrushes4_by_KeReN_R.zip
  24. Ok thanks, I downloaded a set and opened but it said i had to choose a program to open - i chose fireworks and now it says "Could not open the file, unknown file type"
