June 14, 200917 yr I used to be able to run IE5 on my Mac but that is no longer a problem, I need the later updates and I can't seem to find an alternative to running separate windows machines at the moment, i need IE 6,7,8.
June 14, 200917 yr I don't think you can natively. What you'll need to do (I believe) is run WinXP in a virtual machine on the Mac, and then you can install IETester onto that Windows virtual machine. That will give you IE 6, 7 and 8, no matter which version came with the Windows install.
August 6, 200917 yr IE for Mac was dropped after version 5. macIE was never the same as IE on PC anyway - it had its own quicks and issues. Best solution IMO is to do what Zig suggests, running windows in a virtual computer.
