My little website...

Featured Replies

It is a very plain website. It is like an Online Business Card...

I will have this up until I finish my Portfolio, blog, etc...

Would love your feedback!

Hey very cool background, for a simple site it looks nice...I like the pop up content when you click on a link was that done in flash?

Marc

Looks excellent. Very neat and compact.

There's not much to look at I guess, but what's there is nicely done

Hey man, thanks. It is jquery, a simple JavaScript plugin.

Any more thoughts anyone?

It's tiny! It's so small it's very difficult to find anything wrong with it, but I'll do my best.

It's very plain. I guess you're going for the minimalist look, but if you're looking at the page in any kind of normal resolution there is more blank space than there is between Gordon Brown's ears.

What's the point of the website? Why don't you make a business card instead?

Thanks for the comment man, I thought it would be better to have this little website with nothing more

than a section about me, my networks and contact than an "Under Construction" page.

Its a very nice little site, but If i was a potential client I would not hire you based on what I have seen, You say "I design beautiful customised websites" but your site if far from that which might confuse some people.

Why is that logo is the top left ? what does it mean ? why is it positioned like that ?.

Keep at it, I do like the design but I think it needs more work which you are capable of doing

I like it!! Might have to knick the Idea too! agree that it is much better than a coming soon page.

Only thing I think is the blue lines on the left need to either expand further or fade into the background or both!

nice neat idea.

just followed you on twitter too! :)

Hey man thanks. :)

I don't understand what you mean by:

Thanks mate!

Well, I went for the retro/vintage style. That's why the blue sunburst doesn't fade into the background.

That's dead good that is! I wish I could be as minimalist like that :)

One point - and picky one at that - the images look "over optimised" on my monitor with too many .jpg artifacts - though if I look closely I can see it's by design.

Thank you! How can I stop these ".jpg artifacts"? I set the quality to 100 already. Would it help if the images were .gif?

Hi Pedro,

I like your little, too little, tiny, minimalist (not sure what to say after all that) site. Is much much better than the normal holding pages you see (and of which I too am very guilty). My only suggestion is perhaps to say somewhere that you will be adding more to the site soon to encourage people to return to see your work.
