Who else has been watching Lost? I've watched it every week ever since it's been on, except the first season, which I watched over a period of two days with my day (late nights).

 

I have to say, that the previous season was a bit dodgy for a few episodes, but then got amazing, and now this season is just completely blowing my mind. Absolutely everything is fitting itself together perfectly as though they've thought this many seasons ahead.

 

In case you don't know, this is the penultimate season, with the next 2 episodes (12 and 13) being the final episodes of this season.

 

I think the final season of lost will get unbelievable viewing figures.

I agree, it has been very engrossing recently. I did go off it for a while (although I kept watching) due to it seeming a little odd/far-fetched/over the top. But I cannot deny that it has been rather entertaining.

was this during the writers strike, don't watch it personally, but my friend is obsessed, he really is, and amongst his many rambles and theories on it, he did say something about the writers strike having a damaging affect on it

I think it may have been around the time of the writers strike. At that time Lost seemed like it had no clear direction it was going in, with a few episodes being filled with waffle. I pushed Lost to the side in favour of Heroes, but now since Heroes has gone a bit crappy I'm back on Lost.

 

I would recommend it, as the show is enjoyable and it does keep you guessing. Since they're on series 5 now and nearing the end, a Lost marathon would most likely take an awfully long time. .

Yeah I LOVE Lost mate - I am one episode behind though, it is on my Sky Plus from Sunday and I might actually watch it tonight. It is without doubt the best program I have seen in many years.

 

The way it is all fitting together is amazing and like you said mate, they really have thought this many seasons ahead!! It is fantastic (expect a PM tomorrow after I have watched this weeks episode lol)

Jacob, it's an amazing show and I would recommend it, it wouldn't take you any longer than watching three seasons of a normal show, the reason being that the last 2 seasons have only had 12 episodes (this one and the next one are having 13/14 due to the writers strike), but I would recommend it. It's the type of show that when you first start watching it, you have to watch the next episode, then the next one, and the next, and so on and so forth. My father and I stayed up until 03:30 one morning watching it.

 

True, it has gotten a little supernatural, but regardless, the show is unbelievable.

I got "lost" (sorry) about the end of season 2 - it just seemed a bit contrived and directionless...

 

I may pick it up again if I'm at a "loss" (sorry again) for something to watch.

 

However at the moment on my hard drive I have Heroes S3, Greys Anatomy S5, Lie To Me S1, Dollhouse S1, M*A*S*H S8, The IT Crowd S2, The Big Bang Theory S2, and ongoing episodes of Scrubs S8, House S5, Primeval S3 and the new Apprentice (and random movies)... so I'm probably OK for a while

 

PS. Also looking forward to the next season of Eureka (due in the summer I think), Fringe (back later in April) and Dexter (Autumn).

I like your choice of television shows, I stopped watching Heroes in November time, when it started to get boring, the same with Prison break. House is dull, the same thing happens on every show, it's ridiculous.

 

Grey's Anatomy is a Godsend, my girlfriend and I watch it every week. By the way, if you like that, you should try watching Private Practice, Addison Forbes-Montgomery is the protagonist, and it's a private surgery, it's very good - it's currently on the second season, with 12 episodes in the first one, and 24 in this one.

Who isn't looking forward to the fourth season of Dexter? It's one of the best TV shows in a long while, one hell of a moral dilemma.

And yes, I don't watch "normal" television - because here, "normal" television is (a) in Maltese, and (b ) terrible! I speak some Maltese now but it doesn't make the TV any better...

Trust me, you're not missing anything at all. There is never anything good on apart from the odd documentary by David Attenborough or Louis Theroux. Who would willingly watch a full episode of Eastenders?

The fourth season of dexter will be immense i hope, they just get better, the third was by far the best, but i'm still gutted he killed of Lila

 

I think dexter is the only us drama to keep me interested, although my brother's raving about house alot lately. I like csi but it's extremely repetitive.

 

I wish dexter would move to 24 episode seasons but at least we know it'll run to series 5 at least, so for now i'm happy

Ive just finished watching the latest episode of Lost and think it is pretty amazing!

 

I do agree it has got a bit strange and supernatural but I still find it addictive to watch. It is bringing together all of the other seasons and so you now get a better picture of the story line.

 

My other favourite at the moment is the new season of "24". Anyone else watch this? I think that it is the best TV show I have ever seen.

I actually found the newest Lost episode to be a little boring compared to the previous one.
