Hi guys...

I am thinking about getting Coda soon although the price puts me off a bit - $99.... especially with the way the pound is valued atm.

Is there a Uk site for coda? I have looked but cannot find....

Or a slightly cheaper alternative to consider.

I use smultron atm which i do love, but something like coda would speed me up a touch :)

Thanks guys!

There is no UK site for Coda that I have been able to find. For $99 it is so worth the money, even with the £££ as crappy as it is. You won't regret it ;)

I think Coda is probably the best as far as features go which is why it's more expensive but I've heard good things about TextMate.

There is also a roundup on them here.

To be honest, you're probably better off just biting the bullet and buying Coda otherwise you'll just want to get it in the future after paying for something else.

ok thanks ppl for your responses.... will have to wait for some dosh to come in first then lol. Just got Mac Pro which i need to pay hubby back for! :o

Anyone want a website :D ???

You can download a 30 day free trial for Coda if that helps :)

I'm in the same boat as you, just got a MacBook and now I need to find more money to get programs, I really want FontCase and Things now :(

I already used up the trial lmao .... that's how i know i WANT! :) He he I can't wait to play with my new mac....*DRIBBLE*

Don't you love macs? I love mine. I made some cash over the summer and bought myself a macbook! Best thing I've ever bought. Coda is worth the cost. But.. if you have to- I'd earn the money back and pay off what you owe already before you buy more! If you can code, than you shouldn't need coda.. it just makes everything that much simpler and quicker.

I.E more efficient, so increased productivity and thus more earnings.

sorry lol :p i do agree with you, shouldn't you avoid spending whilst in debt? or is hubby a soft touch?

LOL well i don't really count it being in debt but as not earned yet, feel I should resist. I just thought it would be good to be more confident with coda before the work really heaves it (ha ha!)

But actually I don't owe too much cos he is buying my macbook off me to replace his crappy Dell that is being held together with sellotape :p
