Hi tanicos,

Nice work here - very unique.

I like the rustic feel you have here. The text on the welcome paragraph is a little too big for my liking, makes me feel like a child. That could be more to do with my personality than your website though :)

When your portfolio popuped and started to load I thought "oh no ..." but actually was very fast and worked very well. Alot of work in there too!

Well done all round.

Regards

James

I like it, nice and stylish. The wood effect is a bit like marmite though, love it or hate it (I like it) but tried it on a design once and the client and a few others I showed didn't like it at all.

i like your site at the first glance. I will advice you to make some SEO in order to improve its position on google search engine.

The content is well difined and the visitor may move around easy. well done.

"My main area of expertise is web 2.0 design"

Do you know what the concept / definition behind web 2.0 is? Because your new website is not web 2.0 from what I could see.

web 2.0 is the concept behind user interacting with the website by contributing with content and thus not only view websites - but participate in "building" the websites.

While your site has a forum, it does not really integrate the user experience into the main site, but rather links to an alternate site, which is the forum.

i am talking about web 2.0 designs...i am sure you heard about that

Paragraph is way to big and I don't like the copywriting it makes you sound sort of cocky.
