January 15, 200917 yr Yes it certainly is. A really quick and easy way to do it is: Draw a vector circle to the size of the crop area. Now select the image you want to crop and cut it (Ctrl+x) now click the Circle you just created and click Edit > Paste Inside or Ctrl+Shift+V Hope that helps, any problems please let me know.

Thanks for your help.I have tried without success.I draw the vector circle, select image, click the circle I created BUT when I paste inside, the image I wish to crop vanishes, the outline of the vector circle goes yellow and properties panel shows a vector mask...please advise
January 15, 200917 yr Ok, i've had a look at this, i've attached a simple process on how to do this. The numbers below relate to the attached image 1. Draw a simple vector circle above the EXACT place you want the crop to be 2. Now select the image behind the circle you're looking to crop and Edit > cut it (so it disappears) 3. Click on the circle and goto Edit > Paste Inside or Ctrl+Shift+V Now the image should be inside the circle exactly where you want it to be. 4. If you need to move the image and adjust it at all - simply click the circle and click and drag the blue points to your desired position (this is highlighted with the red arrow on the attached guide) Let me know how you get on Attachment:

January 16, 200917 yr This is a really neat trick, I only learnt this myself a few months ago and has helped saved me a lot of time cropping circular and star shapes.
