pressies, food, alcohol, games with family, more alcohol, bed

 

not neccessarily in that order.

Watching the kids open their presents, family getting together, eating so much food I can't walk and need to have a bonus snooze. Drinking copious amounts of lager. Then relishing in the thought that I don't need to do it again for a whole year!

Christmas TV winning , I watched die hard n home alone yeasterday

my favourite parts has to be the food , the presents and the TV ... but most of all the family

I'd have gone for snow and skiing if it'd been there. Merry Christmas I love it!!!!

i love everything to do with x-mas.

 

This year i think will be nice and cosy, (my partner just lost his job) so we not spending much money. So i made my gift this year (some Pepernoten cookie things)

and i had more fun making them then shopping and spending lots of money.

 

So i think it will be in some way more special then normal

My family was pretty poor a few years ago and it turned out to be a good Christmas. Helped me too, first year at uni I was skint! Still am, I've have £6 til January 14th.. might have to borrow some money from the parents for a a few nights out and some Christmas shopping.

 

I like the time off best, although this year I have to write THIRTY-FIVE-****ING-THOUSAND-WORDS and make 2 working prototypes, a design document and half of a game in AS3.0 for my course. Bear in mind that the THIRTY-FIVE-****ING-THOUSAND-WORDS are just a smaller part of a 2 larger modules.

 

The thing that annoys me is I have a few friends working on dissertations at the minute in which they have 2 modules to write 20000 words and that's weighted at 3 modules! I have 35000 in half the time for a third of the credits!

Presents and food are equal first!

Every thing to do with Christmas is great apart from rapping presents!

I love the consumerism and the corporate profit!

 

And the god damn annoying music.

I absolutely hate Christmas, and everything about it!

 

Aside from the fact that nobody seems to remember what Christmas is SUPPOSED to be about (and no, before you ask, I'm not religious), it has become far too commercial, and is nothing more than a glorified excuse for a p**s up to most people.

 

This year, like every year since leaving school many years ago, I will be working Christmas day, and enjoying getting paid 4 x my usual hourly rate to do so!
