google not accepted the site yet

Featured Replies

How long does it take for google to accept the website.

I have added Deaf Jet Ski an year ago and it accepted it right away.

However this is not the case on www.stmaryscoatbridge.org.uk i've tried searching it with site: before the address still doesn't find it. I registered it on Friday almost a week. Can anyone help me here. Deaf Jet Ski comes up right away with no META Tags etc.... I have META tags Keywords in stmarys one.

Why the popup ok button? "Best viewed at 1152x864 pixels" - why? That serves no purpose other than to frustrate your visitors.

It can take weeks or months to get listed on search engines so you'll have to be patient :)

Right, get rid of that alert box. Thats going to be a little annoying. Or to make it work in 800 x 600 you could have the nav along the top?

The submission of sites isn't an exact science, however I've never had to wait longer than 4 weeks.

In the past, search engines needed the manual site submissions for knowing about a new website launched but nowadays, submitting a site to the search engines is not needed anymore because by adding a few links to that, search engines and Google will find, crawl and index it.

It can take a lot of time. So I have two suggestions:

add a link to your second site to your first one or

add your website to Digg.com Note Digg likes unique and interesting content
