CrazyEgg Web Stats! Useful Tool.

Featured Replies

Hi,

I came across this great web statistics package from CrazyEgg. You add javascript to your website and then log into your CrazyEgg control panel and you can see where people clicked on your website. It's a bit like the Google Analytics site overlay but alot more functional. I really like the way it's designed and the reports are quite detailed. It's good for planning a redesign so you can see what parts of your website people actually click on and then ditch or re-think the links users don't use.

You can different views such as Heatmap (which is cool way of showing wher epeople clicked), Confetti (Shows refers as coloured dots) and some other cool options. It's free for 5000 clicks a month then you have to pay, but if your website doesn't get 5000 clicks on your homepage then it's worth trying it.

The demo can be found here: http://crazyegg.com/snapshots/report/18
