I really, really love the look of your current website. Why are you redoing it?

 

Main suggestion: Move away from table-based design.

 

If I have to nit-pick, I don't think there is enough text. Most of your solutions are explained by tables, which are great at a glance but there is no real sales pitch (or I can't find one). Also, have you thought about bringing someone in to optimise your site (again, text content would help here)?

Yes, i have to agree with Expat. Your current site is really nice.

 

And yes, there is not much by way of a pitch. It doesn't really convince prospective clients that you are really driven to produce a great site for them, its more of a showcase of past work...

Yip, I totally agree, it's a beautiful website.

 

Clean, uncluttered and good use of Flash.

thank you for your comments above , this has given me a useful set of fixes for the new website which I have started developing. I will keep you posted on the progress of the new site. I a planning a web2 style website and also adding many more useful feratures for developers and businesses.

Nice website... but I would suggest using DIV's... table based designs are getting old... put all attributes in your css stylesheet... this will give a professional presence in your code to match your lovely front and design.

 

btw: plz distance your text in footer of bottom side...

Jay-S: there is no "need" about it.

 

Certainly it is fun to make fun of designers who cba using divs, but to clients and the world at large it makes sweet FA difference. Whilst it is semantically incorrect, web browsers have universal support for it, and will continue to do so for the rest of our lives, regardless of wether every designer/coder/developer switches to divs (as most have).

I like the rainbow, lots of nice colours, and it is a very goo layout with a nice design.

 

As for tables over divs, divs over table argument, browsers will keep on supporting both, and all divs do is make the code cleaner...the layout will look the same, so don't worry about it.

It has the look of a CSS layout whilst using tables. This is an interesting phenomena which I have come across as have the rest of you no doubt. I think you should force yourself to try it in CSS. The challenges will make you an expert designer in this sense.

 

Overall, it's nice and pretty, good use of colour and it is very much an inviting experience. Do you have graphic design qualifications?

Your front-end design looks great! A nice, clean and stylish website with brilliantly used features. Very effective use of colour and other effects.

 

As for your code, like the others say, move away from tables and go onto CSS layouts which will make your code tidier and more flexible.

 

And it's also nice to see some one from around my area.. I live in Harrow too
