Hi guys just thought id throw in my alpha/beta test of the new MinuteDesigns website.

 

Any feedback would be great, powered by Wordpress rather than Static HTML.

 

Only the rough layout, header and footer is done with semi draft graphics but will likely stay for now.

 

Anyway feedback is welcome and wanted!

alot of nice elements, however i feel the white space is too overwhelming, I would need to view the design when it is full of content to get an idea of the feel n quality.

Yeah im mainly after head and footer feedback; im coding the content, down the right hand side there will be a short portfolio listing of a few websites (possibly 3 or 4) with a brief description and a link to portfolio area with more information about the site.

 

I was trying a few Ajax scripts to change the images every 3 seconds but none of them seemed that fab to be honest, none of them had any way of going back or forward.

I like it.. the colors are nice and its clean to give it that "these guys have been around" kind of feel

Gotta disagree on the colours! Teal Blue, Red, Green and Brown are'nt working out for you. Also your Contact button is broken in ff, sits too far down.

 

The Banner needs some action, too much white.

I like the header and background although I think maybe the links in the navigation are a font size to big

Kinda curious to your version of FireFox, checked with 2 and 3, works fine, viewed fine, can you screenshot?

 

White, yes, clean - readable - the only colours that work with those. The colours do not match? I wouldnt agree; you been www.colourlovers.com? fantastic site - there you will find colours that dont match - match

I quite like it at first i loved the wood background, but I'm not sure about it now, The section near the footer with the copious amount of links is a bit too much i get why its there to bring focus to the content. Saying that it will probably be fine when its full with content as you will have to scroll to it, so it will lose focus.
