  1. Hmm.. your sites needs some re-coding I think... maybe grab a free basic two column layouts and edit it until its looks pretty much like that. Also, I would keep the page at a fixed width and not 100%. Just a few suggestions...
  2. Hmmm.. good point and btw, what in the blue moon are you doing here???? LOOL! Nice to see you buddy
  3. Hey guys, I'm working on a new project and I'm willing to sell this as a template once I've got everything sorted. The major problem I'm having is the forum. At the moment, it's an image mockup (can be viewed here: http://www.razor-productionz.110mb.com/forum.html). I want to turn this into a working forum design. If anyone is willing to give a helping hand, I'd be very grateful. - What's the best way to turn this mockup into a functional forum? - Which forum engine would be good for such design (i'm thinking of using SMF)? (Just a noob forum coder here.. can do the dirty website work but not even on a beginner level on the forum section lool)
  4. But what does it mean by Monthly Sales? what if I don't sell anything in a certain month? what happens then?
  5. Thanks.... I see it's under the business tab. Is it different for personal use? Btw, I'm selling around 20-30 designs average on my site (all to the best quality). I'm not trying to make a BIG business but the one-off kind if you what I mean. Would you recommend business paypal or personal?
  6. What page was this found on? Might aswell have a closer look
  7. What about SMF + TinyPortal? Anyone agree with that?
  8. +1 to that question... Also (like ExpresionEngine being recommended by Ben), if I code in xHTML/CSS, does the forum also get coded automatically? Or is that a seperate job? By browsing around, I found TinyPortal & Simple Machines. Would you recommend these (...also are they CMS)?
  9. @ Helen, As you've been using Paypal, can you please explain to me about this '10% given to paypal' thing? Is it true?
  10. Hey guys, I am intending on selling some website designs on my site and at the moment I've got no payment method whatsoever. I was thinking of getting cash in through credit card but that wouldn't be too safe. I am willing to know more about paypal since most people use it - Is paypal the best way around payment methods? - Does paypal take 10% off your cash when you make the money through them (heard from a paypal user)? - Are there any other methods that would work well in this case?
  11. Wow, what a perfect reply I got from your bluedreamer Thanks for your advise... really appreciated.
  12. Ok, very noobish here. I haven't even bothered to look into this section of web design since I was over-excited about learning xHTML/CSS - What is a CMS? - How is effective? - What language does it use? - Can one use it on xHTML/CSS sites? - What are it's advantages/disadvantages? - Where to start about CMS?
  13. Hey guys, I'm SiGnature. I'm 17 years old and I like to think of myself as a designer focusing mainly in areas such as web design and graphic design. I am experienced with approximately 3 years of graphic design and 1 year of web design knowledge although I started producing random design and website work from the age of 12. I have just finished understanding the key elements and main tips of a professional website coder and have done a bit of revision lately on my coding skills. So hopefully this community will help me solves problems whenever I fall into one I code in xHTML/CSS to web standards. I currently have opened a design service for those who are willing to purchase or download (coming soon) a design from my site. Here's the webby link: http://razorproductionz.co.nr/ You'll be seeing more of me here. Regards, SiGnature.
