  1. hmm, that's a pretty good idea I'll have to give it a try. I'll be sure to come back with what I come up with. Thanks, Brendan
  2. Would maybe work... however, I don't have photoshop, and the designer is so bad, that he made the header a jpg, instead of something such as png, which I could actually edit. ):
  3. What about the triangle at the bottom right of the header? would that mess it up?
  4. I'm not sure I understand what you mean
  5. Yeah, as i said before, this isn't even my design, I just wanna take what he's done with the header and keep it, cuz it's a design company, so there should be some cool graphic element to the site. I know exactly what you mean! The rest of the site actually looks different, the header's a bit smaller, as for the colors, yeah, kind of like, bleeding off to the right sided of the page! Really what I'm looking for is to just keep the black design for the header, and have white, because it must be professional, so I think that's what would best suit the site. Any tips are welcome about that
  6. It's actually not me designing the site, it's my parent's business, and they're under the impression that they need to pay someone for it to be done right, and that it can't be me. However, the guy doesn't know what he's doing that they hired, so I'm looking to redo what he's designed and show them that I'm the better choice :b I want to keep this kind of header, www . publiciteascension . com, however, since it's a business website, i think white would be a better background color. If you think otherwise, let me know! Any suggestions? Thank you! Brendan
  7. I have a cool header that I've come up with, and it only works with a black background. How would I make the rest of the design professional on a black background, or how do I make the transition to another background color? Thank you for any suggestions! Regards, Brendan

  20. Hi all, I am shortly going to be starting a website, it's a personal project so no specific client needs, and am wondering whether to code by hand or use a CMS. It will basically be a job-search site for students, with many features similar to sites like monster.ca Should I use a CMS for this? If so which one? Thank you all in advance for your replies! Regards, Brendan
  21. LOL, don't worry, I'm not planning on creating anything close to monster.ca ... I was just using it as an example for those who didn't know what I meant by job search website. Thanks, I'll take a look at hot scripts for a job script
