  1. I have a guy rebuilding my woocommerce/wordpress site from the ground up. I have the Bolder Elements Table Rate Shipping plugin, but we can't get it to do what I need. I have two types of product on my site. Lets say A) & . A) ships internationally, only domestically (within the UK). So I need to have four shipping zones - 1 UK, 2 EU, 3 rest of world zone 1, and 4 rest of world zone 2. So I need product setting up somehow so they can't be shipped outside of the UK, even if the customer tries to buy it along side product A) which does ship overseas. Also, some kind of alert telling international customers why they can't complete the checkout with product B in the basket would be good too. I can't find a basic tutorial showing me each stage, so I wondered, has anyone on here set up TRS to work like this, and can you share the setup? Thanks.
  2. Hi. Just like the title says really. I currently have a single shipping fee for the items I have on sale, even though they're different sizes and weights. Very different. This is because when I was setting up my woocommerce site I couldn't see how to apply different shipping fees for different items. I could really do with changing this. Does anyone know how or if it's possible? I only have a free theme and wondered if maybe this is a feature you only get with pay themes... or if I've just missed it. Thanks.
  3. Yeah man, you were very helpful - thanks. Still haven't figured out the dashboard products page glitch though, and with it being a free theme, woothemes won't help at all, which is a bit crap. I mean sure, they might say they can't help with customization, but not being able to help just get the thing working properly on a basic level? A bit shoddy. It feels like they're trying to force me on to a pay theme to be honest....
  4. I'm Mike, a print based graphic designer based in Manchester. I've signed up for the forums hoping, no, praying there's a WooCommerce guru on here who can help me with my website, 'cos it's giving me a real headache! Any design/illustration questions - fire away. Cheers.
  5. I'm having some trouble tweaking WooCommerce to get it to look the way I like. I'm praying there's a WC guru on here! Ok, here we go: Each page (HOME, SHOP etc) says (HOME SHOP) at the top of the page. Looks naff, I'd like to get shut of those black titles. When you click on the images of the items for sale, the title of the jpeg is showing under, which looks odd. Can I ditch any image text below the pic? Can't find where you'd do that... I'd like dropdowns under SHOP for the categories (t-shirts/bannetons) rather than just clicking shop and coming onto the products... I can see the layout settings section, which shows how the page is set up, and it looks like i have it set to keep the blog and buttons to the right, yet they show left. Don't get it. I have a couple of extra buttons to fit in, one for the FairWear foundation, but I'd like to stick that on a page only accessible by a widget. How do I go about setting one up? Never done widgets before. It would be nice to have the widget button on each t-shirt page, as everything I'll be doing is FairWear. Lastly, I've deleted a load of my old site pages, now the blog/recipe section is just sort of floating. It shows up on the new site, but not under BLOG. How do I get everything across under the new menu button? Do I have to go back and forth copying the text and images from each blog entry and entering them anew in the new BLOG section? If so, so be it, I just need to know.... That's about it. I'm hoping they're not biggies, more a matter of knowing where to look to find the settings. I feel like I'm getting there - very slowly though. haha. Thanks again....
