Thank you very much. I`m thinking about adding a menu for different special categories. Everything used to be by category in different pages, but I thought everything on the front page would make it more useful. Perhaps I`ll change the logo later, and I`ll look at the footer as well. Thanks a lot for your opinion and tips .

Thanks for the feedback and ideas everybody, its much appreciated. I havn`t updated the website in a while but i`m working at it now. If you have any websites you think i should add please let me know. If you own a website you can send me the link as well if you want me to add it.

Thanks for your reaction. I understand that and i`m not even going to try to compete with Google (lol). But lets say you search for some funny website, than you`ll only get website hits which feature the word funny or are the most popular. for example i find the website www.badassoftheweek.com very entertaining. its about badasses.... people for example who have done really heroic things. There would be no way i would have thought about that website hence i would probably not find it on google. On my website i`ll give the links to things not easy to be found or are just plain stumble upon. Same goes for imdb you need to know what you`re searching for, the lists are just to help and advice some movies.

A Honest advice is the best well i`m still working on the lists and i try to avoid things like best or greatest, because as you pointed out its a opinion. and i search on the internet for general opinions about the movies. The name websignpost comes from a signpost on the internet, on top of the mainpage are categories and if you click on them there are links to other websites. Therefor a signpost. I started the website with that idea.

Hi, Well a name depends on what kind of business you want. good points on a name are short and easy to remember and of course related to your activity. Perhaps if you give some more info we (or I) can help Websignpost

Hi toile34 I just started as well. I don`t think or at least i don`t hope there no oppertunity anymore, it probably has just become harder considering there`s already so much on the internet. So the key is to have something that people want and to bring it on a interesting way and of course to be known. Internet is becoming more and more popular and its role in our lives keeps on growing as well, therefore if anything the chances are good, but like i said you need to have attention. So many people are using the net and it has become so advance you don`t have to be a expert anymore to start a website. but i would advice to learn something. I dont know how good you are with computers, but being handy with a computer is a great advantage. i would suggest learning something about HTML, perhaps only basic, but than you`ll at least understand whats it about. Earlier you needed a great deal of knowledge on HTML, but now you have programs who code it for you. perhaps visit some tutorial websites and watch youtube or something? Good luck with your plans
