@@teodora there are sites for checking the WCAG compatibility...we use achecker.ca but it seems to be down right now. There is also Powermapper
 
I am working on a WCAG website right now and it's got a very complexe navigation system with lots of content and it's quite a challenge!

Nice! And I see it's an accessible site too!

I was thinking about that one but it's for CS3 and I have CS2...but I will try it at work!

Yeah alignment is a pain especially with relative, absolute mixed with floats and that background.
I tried another bg image faded out it's really nice but like you said the bokeh removes the distraction.

All your js and css should be concatenated into single files. Reducing http requests will speed up loading times. They should also be minified and gziped.
 
There are loads of other things you can do too but those above should be of primary cconcern.

+1 for NivoSlider and you can really customize it and I suggest using the cloudflare CDN:

Looks nice and I agree with the previous feedback. If you want to use a great italic font (increase your font-size a tiny bit) try Open Sans Semibold Italic and add a text-shadow with an in-between color with no blur/spread and a low opacity.

I stopped counting how many times I had great ideas and I couldn't get my sheet together in order pitch the idea to investors!
