A good front end developer needs to be good with graphic design and web design, they also need to usually know basic coding such as HTML/CSS, Javascript or PHP would be a bonus. A good back end developer would need to be good with code in general, able to create content management systems from scratch, etc.

http://www.pixel2life.com Has a fair amount of flash tutorials, been a while since iv'e been on the site though so not sure if they're any good these days.

Bottom Left one is the best by a long long shot. Add some more detail to it and youve got yourself a winner there.

They look okay I guess, not really feeling them though. The first one just doesn't feel too good on the eyes if i'm honest though it is my favorite of the two. The second just looks a tad dull and boring to be completely honest.

Hey, Sorry for the late replies, broke 2 of my ribs and completely forgot about this thread/designing but i'm better now. As for the charities I did contact a few local ones and non of them actually got back to me which was rather shocking, but if any of you guys need anything let me know. Hey, First post here! I've been out of designing/freelancing for a while. Had some things/problems that have prevented me from doing much work, done the odd project recently for people I know but nothing major. Still pretty proficient t when it come to web design though, anyway I'm looking to get a portfolio sorted and get back to designing for money. So i thought i'd offer someone the chance to get their project done for free, not looking for anything massive just something I can do in my spare time. Feel free to reply and let me know if you guys have anything you need doing. I'm sure you'll be more than happy with the result.
