Is SEO that simple?
Everyone has their own opinions, some people find it easier than others, especially if they specialize in it. I have found SEO to be quite tough, but i have found picking the domain name is the key to success. One of the main things i found which really helped me was looking at Google trends. I went to google trends and saw what people were searching for, then if i see there is volume there, i will try and find a domain which includes those exact keywords. Always a dot com or dot net. It's very difficult but if you can get a good domain name which has the exact keywords which people are searching for then you're in luck. One of my most recent sites is pirateproxies(dot)com - I did a quick search on google trends to see that people were typing "pirate proxies" in the search engines, and lucky for me the domain was available. It's only been live for a day, so i'm still indexing it. But i expect to get organic visitors as soon as it's fully indexed. How many i will get, i don't know.

Browser or Photoshop
I always start out in Photoshop, and design the site exactly how i want it in there. Then it's just a case of extracting the images. Then i can focus on the actual content of the site.

Help me decide what theme
I prefer the top colour scheme, the bottom one looks a bit too plain. Also the green and browns suit the sites subject better.

Fonts and sizes
To me the colours on the site look fine, wouldn't be my choice but they look fine. Maybe you could change the blue to a darker orange, just to offset the contrast a little bit.

Social networking sites templates
Look into content management systems. You can get web scripts to run via php or whatever, but they're usually very basic. Content management systems are alot easier to manage members etc; But that's just my preference.

Hi, I'm a designer with a hobby
Hi, I have tried out different web designer forums before now, but alot of them i have not been able to settle in to too well. Designertalk has some of the most arrogant people i have met, which is a shame. I'm a designer who purely designs as a hobby, i like to design my own sites and resell them for profit if i see fit. I hope to contribute to the forum and shine a possitive light for those around me. Look forward to chatting with everyone on here.
