Seo Software
Hey guys I use Web CEO and in my opinion it's cool product. Sure it may be a bit pricey, but when you do SEO for others they want to see progress. To be honest, I have used a lot of the free "back link checkers" and "page rank checkers", but being able to tell your client or you yourself be able to see exactly what has happened since your last update is invaluable! These tools are great for reporting and tracking, but they don't really teach you anything. One cool thing about Web CEO is the SEO "certification" that they offer. Some great content in their "University" section for beginners and advanced SEO's.

my site as disaperd out of yahoo on my pc but not other peoples
Geesh guy Not only is everything "spammy" like Eggman said. A user will click on a link and think this is a load of crap. Most of your pages are blank and the others are copies of each other. I know you said its still under construction, but I think having an incomplete website will hurt you more than not having one while you finish yours... Make a good landing page with your contact details on or something like that. One question - why would you put a link like "I want a web site making" on your tropical fish website that looks exactly the same as the other links?

link building methods
Hi Harry Reusing keywords wont boost and of your "off page" factors. I don't know if you are referring to a blog or a straight forward website? Some of the other techniques you can look into is creating a great informative post on your blog,if you have one which people would find interesting and would want to link to. One of the sure winners here would be to create a "top 10" list of something, people love those type of things. These sort of practices are most commonly coined as "Linbait" or "Linkbaiting", check Darren Rowse's post on the subject for more info - http://www.problogger.net/archives/2007/01...at-is-linkbait/ Another good one for beginners is reciprocal linking - checkout http://www.linkmetro.com/ - they mate it a lot easier... Always remember to try and get the keywords you are targeting inside the "link text" that will point to your page. Good luck!

Is my new site search engine friendly?
antilogic replied to Million Impossible's topic in SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) & Search EnginesWizely def has a good point. Overdoing it will def irritate the living sh... out of most users as well as possibly have a negative impact on the engines. I would suggest a copywriter as well, especially if someone has some experience in writing for SEO.

books about Internet Marketing/SEO
Like Eggman suggested, SEOMoz is the shiz. One resource I may suggest is Aaron Wall's SEO Book, get it at www.seobook.com. The website is also full of great content.

Is my new site search engine friendly?
antilogic replied to Million Impossible's topic in SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) & Search EnginesHi MI Like Eggman said, it is very good practice to write uniwue titles for every page one your website if possible. Keep in mind that if the text in your title, description and keywords aren't supported and carried through for that specific page, the is no use. I see your pages don't have pages descriptions and keywords, that is the most important thing you need to fix. Other things that will help you: Bold and italicize relevant keywords and phrases on a page. This will show Google that they carry more weight. Remember to use H1,H2 and H3 tags for your titles and sub titles etc. Remember to position your important keywords close to the top of your page and close to the bottom. These areas carry more weight with search engines Always remember to use descriptive names for your images and their ALT text There are many more that you can add to this list, but these are some of the most important and simple ones in my opinion. Good luck

backlinks
Hi Robert Just keep in mind that as mentioned above, the better the quality of website that links to yours the better results you will see. Also remember to try and get back links that have your related keywords inside the link text which will boost your link popularity for those specific keywords or phrases. Remember - Quality is better than quantity when it comes to back links...
