Hi Benhawk, Many websites make use of sub-domains other than WW, although WWW is the most common one. Many times they will be used for specific purposes like api.domain.com or shop.domain.com. So essentially you can keep different parts of your business/site separate while having the consistency of the same domain. Often times people will force the WWW to be used to that when you search for that domain, you always get the whole URL, in other cases the WWW will be stripped entirely. This is many times performed using a .htaccess.
  2. Hi Everyone! My name is Gabe, and I work for Go Daddy. I am one of the few members of our Hosting Ambassador Team, and my only purpose here is to help anyone when I can. If you have questions about Go Daddy or run into issues, I am your guy. Plus, if I know the answer to something that has absolutely nothing to do with Go Daddy, I will still chime in. Cheers!
  3. Hi Matt, You will be able to see where the email is by checking out the domain name's DNS and seeing where the MX records currently point. Our support staff is top notch, so if you still have questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to them via phone or email.
