  1. Ok I'll have the whole thing 100%, it looks much cleaner, take a look at it now, looks much better, still got to buiild a couple of containers. I spotted on that tutorial, that his demo site isn't even working properly...make me think I'm probably not the only person that's had an issue with it?
  2. Ah something so simple Thanks so much, feel proper stupid now, I thought I checked that. Well that's done it I've changed it to that, but now look at it. The footer only goes the width of the background image, I've tried a few things including width 100% I'll place the CSS below prehaps It's in there? I'll keep trying and let you know if I sort it @charset "utf-8"; /* CSS Document */ body { margin:0px; padding:0px; background:#c4c0be; background-image:url(images/bgmainfill.jpg); background-repeat:repeat-x; } #header { padding-top:0px; } #logo h1, #logo small { margin:0px; display:block; color:#FFFFFF; text-indent:-9999px; } #logo { background-image:url(images/logo.png); background-repeat:no-repeat; width:150px; height:130px; } ul#menu { margin:0px; padding:0px; position:absolute; right:0px; } ul#menu li { display:inline; } #main { background:#c4c0be url(images/bgmainfill.jpg); background-repeat:repeat-x; } #main .container { background:url(images/bgmain.jpg); background-repeat:repeat-x; width:100%; min-width:900px; min-height:400px; } #footer{ background-image:url(images/background_footer.jpg); background-repeat:repeat-x; color:white; padding:40px; } .container { width:100%; margin:0 auto; position:relative; }
  3. Right I had this explained to me once....bear with me whilst I get the grey matter working. 'a copyright is a direct/expressed request that and object item or logo is neither copied, reprinted or reproduced.' However logo's like blackberry and apple have to be copied by third parties, hence the letter C in a circle which shows there is a copyright on it and has to be put on any copied logo, album or image. Now albums as an image have to have a "image courtesy of..." however if it's taken a picture of as a "used" item, there's no need. If your planning to almost photocopy the image, don't risk it, your a single person against a MASSIVE group of people who's job is specifically to screw you up! Microsoft have just had a massive bill from BBC, it was all kept hush hush and the newspaper who published it have also been told off...I don't know if lawyers where involved only that it was taken off after 20 minutes of being on (or 20 mins after I read it anyway). Digital music/audio in it's digital or reproduced form you need a licence for (not sure how previewing a track works). For what it is I believe the licence isn't all that expensive, It's a big market! Again just be careful there's a heck of a cost when it hits the fan. As for the API, yes include the link where it comes from so that you don't get stung for no licence. Apart from that mate I wish you all the best, make money go crazy life's gooooooooood! Cheers Kyle
  4. A wise man once said 'keep it simple stupid'. What do you know? if you know all three sections very well.....I understand your dilemma! However if your wanting to make money, Retro laptop and phone cases are the new fad with people wanting to protect their investments and look pretty nice at the same time. What exactly is the website address? Cheers Kyle
  5. Depends on what your doing exactly, what is it advertising? where will it be used? I work in this industry, it's a pig sometimes. Option 1 hits me with a form of Human Resourcing? Option 2 means Gadgets or digital media, possibly eBooks? option 3 shows something like UK social media again a form of library or digital good? My favourite is option 1, but would really like to know what it's to advertise All very good designs, one point option 3 needs feathering on the edges of that graphicy bit Cheers Kyle
  6. Hello all, I'm following a tutorial HERE.
