UK2 Trading Eye
hi - does anyone have any experience with Trading Eye? This is the first time I have used it... Site link - www.realskincare.co.uk/uk2ecommerce I hope you can see it... Anyway, you'll notice that I have been trying to add images to the menu... It was going well through the eCommerce package online (as you can see there are some images) but when I started trying to add images directly to the leftMenu.tpl.htm file the site seems to reject them... I have uploaded the images to the right folder but it just won't display them in the menu... hope that makes sense, any ideas/questions, let me know... In fact, if anyone knows if you can do this directly from the online package (without tinkering with the leftMenu.tpl.htm file), that would be best but I'm not sure that possible. yours hopefully, eighty0ne

lightbox help
hey thanks for your responses... I changed my lightbox.js file and the close image now displays - although it seems to jump when clicked? still can't get the prev/next images though... all the required gifs are located in 'images/lightbox/...' the lightbox.css reads: #prevLink:hover, #prevLink:visited:hover { background: url(../images/lightbox/prevlabel.gif) left 15% no-repeat; } #nextLink:hover, #nextLink:visited:hover { background: url(../images/lightbox/nextlabel.gif) right 15% no-repeat; } so prevlabel.gif and nextlabel.gif are mentioned... but I can't find any references to the prev.gif and next.gif images... eek eighty0ne

Macbook Insurance
hey ya'll - hope this is the right place for this post... clear/float issue
hello again - page in question basically, I'd like to do on the left what I have done on the right hand side of the page - have multiple bordered divs stacked on top of each other... however, for example, I'd like the tickets image to be in it's own seperate bordered div under the left_menu div - but when I add it (after the left_menu </div> but inside the content div), everything goes to pot no matter what floats and clears I apply.... I wish I could explain better what I mean! duh if anyone can decipher that, your help would be much appreciated... eighty0ne

hey all, been playing around with PHP - followed some basic instructions and got a little stuck... here is my form (as on this page): <form method="POST" action="mailer.php"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="2" cellpadding="2"> <tr> <td width="40%">Name</td> <td width="60%"><input type="text" name="name" size="30" /></td> </tr> <tr><td>Email</td> <td><input type="text" name="email" size="30" /></td> </tr> <tr> <td>Message</td> <td><textarea rows="9" name="message" cols="30"></textarea></td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> <td><input type="submit" value="Submit" name="submit" /></td> </tr> <tr> <td> </td> <td> </td> </tr> </table> </form> here is my PHP (mailer.php): <?php if(isset($_POST['submit'])) { $to = "joe@brightonscience.com"; $subject = "BSF Web Contact"; $name_field = $_POST['name']; $email_field = $_POST['email']; $message = $_POST['message']; $body = "From: $name_field\n E-Mail: $email_field\n Message:\n $message"; $success = mail($to, $subject, $body); } if ($success){ print "<meta http-equiv=\"refresh\" content=\"0;http://www.brightonscience.com/contact/thanks.html">"; } else { echo "Sorry error please try again..."; } ?> here is the (inevitable) error message: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/brighton/public_html/contact/mailer.php on line 16 ideally, I would like the script to email me the response and then redirect the user to my thanks page anyone see where I am going wrong? many thanks, eighty0ne

hey BrownWarrior, thanks for your kind words... as you say, IE8 displays fine - as does Firefox 2.0.0.17 - but for some reason Firefox 3.0.3 adds an extra few pixels to the right of the 'main_text' div, throwing things out of sync... maybe I am going mad? anyone got a clue? eighty0ne
