This issue I have is not with creating the logo. I want people to be able to enter what word(s) they want as they're google logo, but to do this I need to convert the text they enter from a text field into graphics. It all needs to be dynamic like on the sites www.pimpmysearch.com or goglogo.com.

I would suggest downloading developers toolbox for dreamweaver. It has a very easy to use image upload and resize feature.
