  1. It'll be easier if you can post a link for someone to debug, otherwise it's all guess work!
  2. If you supply a link to your site I'm sure someone will be able to help out!
  3. To be honest, they seem to load really quickly for me! But the best ways are to save for web, and try and get the quality as low down as possible without noticeably affecting the image.
  4. Definitely not. It looks really out of date, no real consistent layout, clip art graphics. Just everything really - I'd consider hiring a designer for the sake of professionalism.
  5. Do you have a live example of this anywhere, it's much easier to firebug the issue than to rebuild it ourselves!
  6. If you post the code I'm sure someone can help. Otherwise, there isn't much anyone can do!
  7. Try assigning list-style-type:none to the li element as well.
  8. I actually wrote a blog about how to make your own gallery with Wordpress and a plugin, check it out - Make Your Own Gallery with Wordpress
  9. I don't usually like to link to myself, but one of our guys has written a nice blog about responsive web design: http://www.tristarwebdesign.co.uk/blog/website-design/css3-media-queries-responsive-web-design/ Position absolute will function in all browsers, as long as it's parent has position relative. Position fixed does not function in ie6 very well, but there are javascript work arounds.
  10. I think you need to set your ul to use a class of "tabs", rather than an ID. The text is moving out of the right sidebar because .tab_content p has a width of 540px set on it. Edit: Always in there first Zed!
  11. 960 is a good width to have these days. I think someone posted it already but try the 960 grid system. It has templates prepared for you. I usually have my body at 100% width (doesn't need setting really), and then have a wrapper set like #wrap { width:960px; margin:0 auto; } That will create a centered div, 960px wide on the page - this will load well in almost all modern resolutions.
  12. Minify is really good for this - does CSS as well.
  13. It's also worth mentioning that CSS and Html come hand in hand.
  14. type isn't the url to your stylesheet.. href is (href="style/main.css") if your style folder is on the root of your domain, try href="/style/main.css"

A link is always useful, but are you by any chance loading the whole jquery library in each time you create a new feed? If so, that'd do it! You only need to load the jquery library once.
  17. Classic new guy message! I'm just here to help, and receive help! We'll take it from there...
