Hi, Im very new to CSS (started 2 days ago) and i have alot of questions, but first i just want to know how i can place an image in css that overlays a current image? I know i can use html to do it but i want to make it part of the css so that it is "cleaner" i suppose. here is my css atm #container { position: fixed; background-color: #FFF; } #header { position: fixed; margin: auto; padding-top: 10px; padding-left: 18px; padding-bottom: 13px; top: 0; left: 0; right: 0; height: 50px; background-image: url(images/headerbg.png); background-repeat: repeat-x; } #footer { position: fixed; bottom: 0; left: 0; right: 0; height: 40px; width: 100%; background-image: url(images/footerbg.png); background-repeat: repeat-x; } and my html <html> <head> <link href="style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"> </head> <body> <div id="container"></div> <div id="header"> </div> <div id="footer"></div> </div> </body> </html> and a current preview: http://min.us/mcxVPNp in this preview it is placed with HTML but i really want to place it using CSS instead. Thanks! Robby Grimm
