  1. Thanks alzer81. I notice your own website has a lot of 'all lower case' headings I like this too, it's soft and stylish. In terms of text, each section only consists of about 30 words - our sole effort was to create a concept which didn't involve walls of content, but just enough for potential customers to want to get in touch.
  2. Hi Renaissance-Design! Yes! This is something I was supposed to look at - I knew there was something I spotted over the weekend using my iPhone! We'll work on making it both hoverable and clickable! Thanks for your feedback. Thanks alzer81. We appreciate your comments. Is this just your personal preference, or would you say that there is something detrimental about using text in this style?
  3. To all at the WDF! We'd love to hear your thoughts on our new website concept - www . jigmedia . co . uk We've worked very hard to create an attractive, powerful website whilst keeping the content to a bare minimum. Everything is contained throughout one page with the use of jQuery - from an SEO perspective, the site suffers from it's minimalistic nature, but we hope to drive our customers to Jig Media via other resources.
  4. Hi there, t3chnobear! First of all, welcome to the forum - I'm new myself here, and this is my first review, too! I think you've got the foundations for a nice concept, I've a couple of suggestions which may improve it slightly. First negative is that I think it may be a little too boxy. Perhaps try to round parts off, or divide sections with lines instead of solidly defined backgrounds and borders. Secondly, I'm not keen on the combination of brown and blue - I think it comes across quite dull. Perhaps a little more saturation and contrast could be the key! Third of all, it seems to lack an element of graphics. Try touching areas up with small images or gradients. For example, success stories could have some large quote-marks used in the background, top left and bottom right - you'd have to pad the text a little more, but this could work quite nicely. I'll let the others have their say, but I hope you'll find my comments constructive, despite them being quite vague! Thanks and good luck! Ricky.
  5. Hi bowszh! I'm new to the forum today, too! I'll hunt down some of your questions about WordPress and will hopefully be able to answer some for you. Welcome!
  6. Welcome Ced, I'm new to the forum, but not to web design! I hope you continue to enjoy the industry. Ricky.
