Thanks for your reply mrchristoph! I really appreciate such positive feedback on the design, so thanks very much for this! We've really tried to create a concept which is a little more innovative and different to use, though frustrating I can maybe understand. We felt that maybe going for an approach whereby having to 'puzzle' out the actions as opposed to everything being immediately obvious would create a more memorable but positive user experience. I hope we've not made it 'too' difficult, but just something slightly more engaging than the usual website structure. Thanks for visiting and giving your feedback!

Thanks very much for your time and your review jtuds. I agree that the introduction box is not nearly as obvious to look behind as the other 3. I found it very difficult to get a visual balance when designing the boxes, and it seemed to sit better with just the icon. I'll certainly look further into this to perhaps create a clearer point of action. Regards to your second point, did the white text below project overview not display when you initially clicked to open the portfolio box? It should have done! May have just loaded funny - let me know anyway! Thanks again.

We've updated the 'Let's Chat' section of the website, hopefully to give new visitors more confidence in Jig Media as a local company. We've added the right hand pop-up box to compliment the enquiry form. Let us know what you think.

Hey Guys, We're looking to put together a new set of terms and conditions which are more to the point and more user friendly. This will include Branding, Web Design and Marketing + separate Hosting T&C's. How do you go about putting together yours? Did you start from scratch or work from a pre-written template? Do you cover everything in the T&C's or do you cover more ground within the Quotation to your Client?

Absolutely! I would never move all of my sites and my clients websites to another host to see what they're like! That's just asking for trouble, but like you've said, maybe experimenting with hosts could be an idea. Authentic_Style, It's nice to see you've had a similar experience to us. Some hosts have very mixed reviews, whereas UH seem to be very strongly one sided in that they deliver exceptionally.

I think the changes made in the second edition are definitely improvements. You've clearly recognised the areas which needed to be changed, particularly the sign-up area. Less information to fill in should improve conversions anyway. The text on the green button now makes more sense. The only thing I could suggest would be to change the title of that section from '14 days FREE use' to '14 Days FREE Use' - I think the lower case starting letters weaken it slightly.

Hello! We use United Hosting accounts to host our clients websites as well as our own. They're relatively expensive in comparison to some other providers out there, but their support is absolutely remarkable. They're available 24 hours a day via email, and will respond within 2 minutes of any technical question. They're highly skilled and can fix any server or database issue instantly. Their hosting isn't just hosting, it's constant support at no additional cost. Are there any other providers who compare to this, at a better price? Ideally I need to hear from people who have used United Hosting as well as another provider... I don't think I'll leave United, just curious of their competition, if any!

I second this! It's a shame IE still gets 25% of usage, though I think this will continue to decrease.

Update - We've changed the way the portfolio images display on hover. Before we used CSS and 2 images for each. Now we're using only 1 image and jQuery to create a smooth fading effect, as well as eliminating a delay in loading the 'second' image which we no longer use.
