I have an iFrame containing account navigation and a log in panel with email address and Password inputs and a submit button. Now the Register which takes new user to the registration page is fine <a href="/registration.shtml" target="_top" >Register</a> but the <button> for the log in just reloads inside the iframe and ignores _top and _parent does any have a quick work around for this ? any here would be great.

I'm working on several sites for a client, I have access to their ftp servers and I've downloads copies of their site so as not to interfere with their day to day business. Now I've downloaded and installed MAMP and Sequel pro, I then installed Wordpress and made the relevant changes to the wp-config.php file etc etc. But there is none of the styling or alterations to the theme that's on the live site or any of the content / galleries even though when I check the content folder it's all there. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong ? all the guides on the web seem to go from fresh install -> Build the site -> go Live not the other way around. Any help would be great.

I'm currently working for a photographic studio and most of the time they make selections of the images face to face with the client so they can walk them through the process and help them select the pictures for a photo albums etc. What they want is an image selector so friends and family can also select images from a wedding for example to create their own album this will all be done online I'm looking for any help on where to look or how to best go about this, a drag and drop system would be great but I have no idea where to look atm. (if the program is exactly what were after I don't mind paying but I'd prefer a free one which I can customize) Thank in advance Nick.

I deleted everything cashed info history server side info etc and rebooted my Mac, and then re-uploaded it all and it seems to have worked there must have been an old file hiding somewhere which it was reading.

I have a site which is almost complete but when I make changes to the Index page and upload it to the server, the version which show up on the internet remains the original unedited version even when I delete the entire site and re-upload the new one. If anyone has a clue whats going on please let me know. I'm using Dreamweaver CS5 and it's hosted on a BT server. The page is http://www.thespinnersarms.org.uk/Index.html NB: I've deleted this page and yet it still shows up also if you look at thespinnersarms.org.uk/Index.html an older page still shows up even though a replaced it days ago.

Open Ai and make a new Doc Use the rounded-Rectangle-Tool to draw the box 0 stroke, fill black, Switch to the pen tool and add 4 anchor points 2 on the top 2 on the bottom where the cut out bit is use the Direct selection tool to move the anchors to get the required shape. Save for Web& Device as a .png and tick transparency, resize the css about to the requires size. Hope this helps Nick

I have a small website for a local pub http://thespinnersarms.org.uk/Index.html and I'm having trouble editing the "whats happening" pop out panel, Although I can edit it in the code view and do it by hand, I'd really like it if they (the landlord\Lady) could just edit it in design view, freezing the Jscript works to an extent but it's still nowhere near as good as editing normal text in a Div which would be best they don't now a lot about webdesign. If anyone has any pointers pls let me know.

Your could add a page for images of there existing line of cakes then create a flickr account for example for them to update new/custom cakes, and link off the site. Depends greatly on what quality of image they are going to be taking and how much work you will need to do to make it presentable.

I have a Price list / services list in a table inside a tabbed panel looks good works etc, But now I need to add extra info into the table and I need to re-size and adjust the collumn widths I'm using DW5 and I'm unable to select the table partitions to re-size them or to select them at all in design view (The content I can edit in code view but most of the extra text is hidden), I got around it by copy&paste into a new page re-sizing and then copy&paste back into the original page but I can't help thinking that I'm missing something if any one knows of a better way to edit them please let me know . It'll be exported in the form of a .swf it looks like a book and you can turn the pages etc, you may be able to turn the images into buttons then give them a show/hide attribute or a hover state I'll have a look. And yes there will be a low res web page one but you can create an .html page when you export it. Edit: and yes cibgraphics that looks like it could work Cheers

I'm making an interactive portfolio for my web/print design and I was looking to add some captions and short descriptions to the artwork etc, I can get the normal ID captions to show up on the images but I was looking for something triggered when you mouse over the image, and have the info pop up either under the image or on the cursor.If any one has any ideas please let me know.

If your taking an image and just hitting LT then no it's not yours imo. However LT is a quick and easy way of looking at an image in vectors and depending upon the level of editing (and I seem to spend as much time correcting an LT as it takes me to drawn one with the pen tool) and if your changing the composition etc then I'd say it's your own creation as with a lot of thing's when it's used correctly it looks great but you see a lot of rubbish as well.

Hidden -> Auto has done the trick I new it would be something really simle I was missing. tyvm Nick

http://www.paperstreet.me.uk/Gallery/Gallery.html I created a single page for this gallery due to some clashing with the template but for some reason which I can't seem to work out there's no scroll bar when the window is re-sized ie when it's viewed on a laptop or smaller screen. If anyone could spot what I've missed that would be great Ty Nick

Tyvm for the reply, and I came up with a very similar solution of a centered wrap and people can size it themselves.

I'm producing a site for a small company (10 pages no more) and to avoid a lot of problems with relative Positioning etc I'm making everything fixed and I'd like it to open up in a nicely sized window so it's well framed by the background. I've seen pop-up's and several other things re-size the browser to accommodate pages content, and I was wondering how it's done any help would be great Ty

As part of a Project for company i designed and build a new website for them, they then ask me to generate a full set of stationary etc to match the style and layout of the site this included a new email signature that can be used in all outgoing mail from the company as i soon found out this isn't as easy as it sounds. Ideally I'd like something like this to be used http://www.paperstreet.me.uk/njo%20email%20background.html I created the design and the subsequent Html file with out too much trouble but i can't seem to get both text and image to work together i get 1 or the other any help would be great. They use Outlook express, but i'd like it to be available on Mail and Gmail as well if possible.
